This morning in my quiet time, part of my daily reading was this verse from Proverbs:

"Grandchildren are the crown of the aged."

Not that I really feel "aged", but I must say that I do feel like a Queen holding both of my precious granddaughters. God allowed me to hold Norah this morning while I was having my devotions. What a precious time, and the first of many to come. I prayed for her little heart that as she grows she will desire to know God and live in a way that pleases Him and glorifies Him.

Norah is doing well and has her first doctor appointment tomorrow morning. Bristol went to her doctor yesterday, where she was declared "perfect". It reminds me to pray for the day when she accepts Christ as her Savior, and then, Christ Himself will declare her righteous. May the doctor's words prove to be prophetic!

I am having the time of my life - thank you, God!
