Debi, I just loved hearing about your trip.. It sounds like a trip you'll never forget. What a gift from God to give you such a wonderful memory of finishing your book! I am so excited for you! I just wanted to write quickly, for everyone else that reads this to see, that I am so grateful to you for your example of a Godly loving wife. I want to be like you someday in the way you speak highly of your husband, the way you are constantly showing your love for him. Both of you are a wonderful example of how the longer you are married the more you fall in love with each other. I just love to see that, and it gives me so much excitement for the years to come. I can't even imagine being more in love, and I can see that there is so much more for us to experience in God's goodness. Thank you so much, Tom and Debi, for your example, I am grateful to God for your relationship. It brought tears to my eyes when I saw the picture that you labeled "best friends." I know that brings so much glory to the Lord.. Thank you. I love you both so much...
Debi, I too enjoyed seeing all the pictures . . . they are beautiful! God is so kind! And I too have seen the sweetness that you and Tom have with each other. The Best Friends picture was so sweet! I am so happy you got to go experience this time in this season of your lives. I so wish we would have gotten to know you guys better while we were in Orlando.
I feel the same way - but I'm grateful for your blog because I'm getting to know you through your writing and pictures. The distance that separates us isn't so far, is it? And we'll have eternity to spend together! :-)
rating: 5 of 5 stars This book has helped me grow in my love for eternity. There have been times when thinking of life after death has frightened me, not knowing what to expect. Randy has researched the Scriptures extensively, and his perspective is like a fresh breeze blowing in a stagnant room. I didn't realize how much I had embraced a false view of Heaven until now. Everything that I love about life here on Earth is just a shadow of the world to come! When I arrive in Heaven it will be familiar to me because that is the world for which I was made. I highly recommend this book - although long - it is worth a slow, contemplative read.
