Saving Time While Traveling the Blogosphere!

I didn't know a thing about blogs until last year when Sheree Phillips asked if I would be a contributing writer on the Metro Mom's blog. Little did I know what a wonderful tool this would become in my life. I love to journal, not because I think I have important things to say, but because I have faith that there will one day be someone I have never met reading what God accomplished during my lifetime. How I wish there was a journal from my great-grandparents and/or grandparents telling me stories of how God led them day after day. What a legacy that would be!

But, there isn't. Yet God knows what He did in and through them, but I can only imagine. Blogs are a way to journal with pictures and videos the marvelous things that God has done. I love reading about MissionX trips to Bolivia, Wales and an island in the Caribbean. I love hearing about a family that adopted three little girls and how God is leading them in raising them for God's glory. I love reading about babies that are on the way or babies that have already been born and the cute things that they do. Blogs document the lives we live for future generations!

However, blogs take time - something that is valuable to all of us. I found a wonderful new tool; It's called Blogarithm. You'll see it just below our picture on the right. If you enter your e-mail address it will let you know when any blog has been updated, thus keeping you from having to check back often. I hope this will help you in managing your time - it has certainly helped me!

Until next time...blog on!

Thanks Debi! That will surely help. I've been reading Shopping for Time and I definitely want to be a good steward in managing my time.
