The pile of pictures below are from our trip to St. Petersburg. (Thank you, Brandi, for showing me this new way to post pictures!) Tom and I have started a tradition of getting away for a couple of nights to enjoy the beautiful Christmas decorations in a different city and to check off some items on our shopping list. Last year was the first year we did this when we had to go to Charleston, S.C. to pick up our SUV that was in the shop after our kids' car accident. So, this year we went to a little bed and breakfast inn located in the heart of old St. Petersburg. We just so happened to be there the night they were have their annual tour of historic homes. It was so much fun to walk through the streets at dusk and see the beautiful architecture and landscape. By far, I enjoyed my husband the most! He made the whole weekend fun, even though I was fighting off a cold! Check out the Italian Gelato Caffe that was highly recommended to us by Jerry Cisar, the pastor at Gulf Coast Community Church. Tom and I were able to attend their service on Sunday morning. They had a choir that was literally music to my ears!!! How fun to see how God is prospering this sister church of ours.
