Today is Tracy's 24th birthday. How funny that she is the age I was when she was born. We went to Gator's Dockside for lunch with my Mom, Billy, Sherry and my niece Amy with the newest addition to our family, Peyton Marie, who is now 3 months old!
It seems like yesterday that I was showing my Mom all the cute things that Tracy was doing at 8 months of age, and here we are four generations enjoying Norah and Peyton beyond words. The pictures above are of Tracy...do you see the resemblance between her and Norah? Amazing! Peyton has the cutest dimples when she smiles, and Norah is Miss Personality plus! We missed having our other little blessing with us, Ashley with Bristol. They spent the day with her family at the beach!
Tonight as I'm writing this post I have a baby monitor next to me at the computer; Norah is spending the night with us for the first time without Mommy and Daddy. She has done wonderfully well. We even gave her a bath - you can see by her smiles (see slideshow at top of blog) that she was happy to be clean and dry.
I thank God for the gift Tracy has been to me these past 24 years! It is a joy beyond words to see her loving her baby the way I loved her at that age. Thank you God for the gift of life and Your faithfulness to all generations!
Happy Birthday, Tracy! I pray that 2008 will be full of God showing Himself to you in a new way, as you love and train Norah in the things that matter the most. I love you!
Don't miss the slides above of our day!
