The purpose of this blog is to explore the joy God has for the season called "Grandparenting". I have been busy caring for my Mom who has been recovering from two falls a couple of weeks ago. It has been a full two weeks, so I've missed reading up on several of my favorite blogs.

I just visited the Girltalk blog where they have been honoring grandmothers with tributes written by their grandchildren. I've only a read a couple so far, but each one has brought tears to my eyes. And their testimonies are full of great ideas that I hope to incorporate in my relationships with my own grandchildren. What a blessing the tributes are. When you have time, read them. It will inspire you that as we age the work God has for us doesn't diminish, it widens and deepens! Thank you, Lord, for the blessing of grandparents, and thank you for the gift of grandchildren.
