HAPPY 2ND ANNIVERSARY JASON AND ASHLEY!!!

Today is Jason and Ashley's 2nd wedding anniversary, and we are babysitting Bristol while they enjoy a night out together. What a joy it is to watch her grow. She's saying "bye" and "hi" constantly. And she's even said "Nana" a time or two! :-)

The time has passed so quickly! Tracy married Seth in 2005, and one year and one week later, Jason married Ashley in 2006. Then we were blessed with a double portion when they both gave birth to our first granddaughters born only 2 days apart in 2007! So, from now on the weeks from May 27th to June 13th will be full of anniversaries, babysitting and birthday parties for two precious little girls, not to mention that Heather's birthday is May 23rd. So we have been busy lately, but with celebrating God's kindness to us in so many ways.

My Mom is still recovering at our home and doing better each day. We are expecting Tom's Dad and Step Mom to arrive on Thursday for a couple of weeks too. Our house is full; I'm cooking more than I have in years; and I'm enjoying the busyness of caring for many generations under one roof.

In my quiet time this morning the Lord spoke to me from Ephesians 3 these verses. I hope they encourage and strengthen your soul as it did mine:

Prayer for Spiritual Strength

14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

20 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
