Tom and I are in Atlanta for a meeting today. We drove up yesterday through the rain and wind along with Tracy and Norah. We wanted to give the Lytle's some time to enjoy Norah. She is at such a cute age - oh my!
Tomorrow we're planning to go to the Atlanta church where we marvel at what God has done in this first church plant from Metro Life Church back in 1987. This is the church that had a huge impact on the life and family of my son-in-law, Seth. Back in 1987 we had no idea how this church would impact our family, our daughter, personally. But we thank God now for the decisions we made then. God has been so good to us!
After the service tomorrow Tom and I are looking forward to a few days in the mountains of North Carolina where we thought we'd be enjoying beautiful fall weather. However, it seems that Old Man Winter is setting his sights on the Appalachian Mountain range. The lows are forecast in the mid-twenties!!! That's winter where I come from.
Hopefully, the fall leaves will still be beautiful. I'll post what we see in the days to come. As Tigger would say (Norah's favorite video!) Ta-ta-for-now: TTFN!
