We celebrated another first for both granddaughters - They attended their first service at Metro Life Church. Seeing their strollers side-by-side was an amazing moment where it seemed in my heart that time stood still. Friends passed by admiring their sweet little faces, but I took in the fact that God has begun a new generation in my family - what a Savior! Realizing that they will see a place and time that I will never see. What events will they witness? What news will they hear? Will they see Jesus return in their lifetime? All these answers only God knows, but it prompts me to pray for them. I desire to see them come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. I desire to see them hungering for God's Word. And I am commiting my life to do all I can to assist my children as they train their children. Oh, the rewards of this life are abundant indeed! Thank you, Father, for Bristol and Norah. May this Sunday be the first of many years in this building with this Leadership Team and with the Gospel being proclaimed line upon line, precept upon precept into their little hearts.
